Shere Engineering Ltd is a second-generation, family-run
vehicle repair workshop based near Willand Devon, just minutes from Junction 27
of the M5.
About Us
Founded in 1981, we have been proudly keeping cars and
commercial vehicles on the road for over 40 years. Today, the business is run
by William Shere, who brings over 25 years of hands-on experience in repairing
and maintaining a wide range of vehicles.
Shere Engineering has a reputation for quality service, reliability
and skilled workmanship which has been built over years of dedicated work and
commitment to our clients.
At Shere Engineering Ltd, we combine family values with
modern expertise. We look after a loyal customer base ranging from private
motorists to businesses, maintaining vehicles in line with DVSA servicing
requirements.
Our workshop is fully equipped with:
- An inspection pit and two-post ramp
- An on-site parts store and range of tyres ready to fit
- A mobile service van for roadside and on-site repairs where possible
- Up-to-date diagnostic equipment for fast, accurate fault finding
- A DVSA-approved brake testing machine
Commercial Vehicle Services
We specialise in the servicing and repair of a wide spectrum of commercial vehicles. Regular customers include operators of Scania, Leyland DAF, Mercedes, MAN and Isuzu.

Working with your Operators Licence holder to ensure
compliance with the requirements of the Licence
Scheduled servicing with vehicle service/defect sheets for
your records
Supply and fitting of genuine dealer parts if requested
DVSA approved Brake testing available with every inspection
in line with RHA best practice.
MOT booking and preparation – including presenting the
vehicle for its MOT on your behalf.
